Qualifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of participants in the program by providing close supervision of all activities. Independently manage and facilitate activities for youth; management of groups includes but is not limited to: Assisting with activity supervision Assisting lesson planning and implementation Keeping accurate attendance documents Create an environment that is diverse, culturally sensitive, and relevant to the needs of youth Ability to work cooperatively with professional staff and other departments.

By personal example, help interpret the quality of YMCA Character Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Accept and perform all other responsibilities necessary for the organization's good as required by the supervisor (remains flexible).

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 15 years of age
• Commitment to personal youth development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• General knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
