• Pendleton Heights High School The Spirit Squad is an inclusive, non-varsity extracurricular activity designed to provide students with an opportunity to participate in cheerleading and school spirit activities alongside their peers. Essential Skills students and peer participants will work together to learn and perform school spirit cheers, chants, and simple routines at select home football and basketball games. The Spirit Squad will focus on inclusion, teamwork, confidence, school pride, and having fun rather than competition or athletic performance. Students will have opportunities to develop communication, cooperation, responsibility, and social skills while building positive relationships with their peers. The program is open to students of varying abilities and experience levels, making it an excellent opportunity for students who may not participate in traditional varsity or competitive athletic programs. The goal is to create a welcoming team environment where everyone can contribute, support one another, and proudly represent Pendleton Heights High School.
