Job Description: Senior Voice / Collaboration Engineer Job Description Experience 8+ years Primary Focus Local CUCM, SIP/PSTN, CUBE, Unity and site voice migration Work Model Remote with onsite support for larger/critical site cutovers where required Role Summary Senior hands-on engineer responsible for implementation, migration and cutover of the local Cisco voice environment.

The role requires deep experience with CUCM, SIP/CUBE, PSTN services, endpoint migration, carrier coordination and site-level voice dependencies.

Key Responsibilities

/ Implementation Scope

• Build and configure the local/on-premises Cisco Unified Communications environment, including CUCM Publisher and Subscribers, Cisco Unity Connection, CUBE/voice gateways, device pools, regions, locations, partitions, Calling Search Spaces, route groups, route lists, route patterns, translation patterns and dial plans.
• Configure and validate SIP connectivity and call routing between CUCM, CUBE, carriers, contact-center platforms and other voice systems.
• Support setup and testing of new SIP/PSTN services and coordinate with carriers for circuit activation, DID allocation, number porting and production service validation.
• Configure and troubleshoot CUBE and voice gateways, including dial peers, SIP profiles, codec negotiation, DTMF, RTP/SRTP, TLS, media flow and number manipulation.
• Migrate and re-register Cisco IP phones, softphones, conference devices and other VoIP endpoints into the New. Co voice environment.
• Configure and validate voice VLANs, DHCP options, DNS/NTP dependencies, QoS policies, gateway connectivity and network reachability required for voice services.
• Migrate DIDs, extensions, toll-free numbers, voicemail boxes, auto attendants, hunt groups, callforwarding rules and call-routing configurations.
• Support Five9/contact-center integration, including SIP connectivity, DID routing, inbound/outbound customer call flows, failover and end-to-end call validation.
• Validate and migrate analog lines, fax, paging/PA systems, emergency or site-specific voice dependencies where applicable.
• Execute site-by-site cutovers covering pre-cutover validation, endpoint migration, number-porting coordination, testing, rollback support, issue resolution and hypercare.
• Provide onsite implementation support for larger/critical sites and remote deployment support for smaller sites as required.
• Troubleshoot using CUCM RTMT, CUBE/IOS logs, SIP traces, packet captures, debugs and call-detail records. Required Technical Skills Area Required Hands-on Experience Cisco Collaboration CUCM Publisher/Subscriber, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco IP Phones, devicregions, locations, partitions, CSS, route patterns, route lists/groups, translatipatterns and SRST concepts. SIP / CUBE SIP trunks, dial peers, SIP profiles/normalization, DTMF, codec negotiation, RTP/SRTP, TLS, media flow and carrier integration. PSTN / Numbering PSTN services, DIDs, toll-free numbers, number porting, inbound/outbound cand carrier coordination. Network Dependencies Voice VLANs, DHCP, DNS, NTP, QoS, gateway connectivity, routing and pac troubleshooting. Contact Center / Legacy Voice Five9 integration, analog gateways/lines, fax, paging/PA and site-specific teledependencies. Migration & Cutover Site migration planning, cutover execution, rollback, testing, hypercare and as documentation. Certification Requirements Mandatory: Cisco voice/collaboration certification required. Acceptable senior credentials include Cisco Certified Specialist
• Collaboration Core (350-801 CLCOR), CCNP Collaboration, or CCIE Collaboration. Preferred / Advantageous: Relevant Collaboration concentration credentials such as CLACC/CLHCT and prior enterprise voice migration experience. Required Deliverables
