Senior Manager Facilities
Job description
The Senior Manager of Facility Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for Facilities Services, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment that prioritizes teamwork, safety, and exceptional customer service. This role ensures Facilities Services are delivered in alignment with Swedish mission, values, and service standards.
The Senior Manager is accountable for financial stewardship, continuous quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and the long-term performance and reliability of the physical plant. In addition, this role supports planning, construction, and system-wide improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and campus operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to Facilities Services teams, promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer satisfaction. Ensure Facilities Services standards are consistently met and delivered in alignment with Swedish mission, values, and organizational expectations. Develop, manage, and oversee budgets for the Facility Engineering department, ensuring responsible financial planning and fiscal accountability.
Lead and facilitate quality improvement programs and processes that support Swedish System values, with a focus on both system-wide improvements and campus-specific initiatives. Support and guide planning and construction activities, ensuring coordination with operational needs and organizational priorities. Ensure the physical plant systems, infrastructure, and equipment comply with all applicable regulatory, safety, and accreditation requirements.
Promote efficient, reliable, and sustainable facility operations through proactive maintenance, process optimization, and continuous improvement efforts.
