Loan Assistant

• Horton, KS, Salary Range: $17.00 - $25.00, Job Category: Banking, Summary/Objective The loan assistant provides support to loan department with all aspects of loan transactions and customer relations.

Essential Functions

1. Process loan requests and collect all required documentation to complete loan.
2. Monitor loan payments for loan officers’ portfolios.
3. Provide customer service to the customers of the loans officer’s portfolio.
4. Assist with transfer of funds, wiring payments, and making payments to third parties.
5. Completes loan maintenance on core system.
6. File necessary paperwork to perfect banks liens.
7. Follow all bank policies and procedures Supervisory Responsibility This position will have no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary. Travel No travel is expected for this position. 8. High school diploma or G.E.D.
9. At least two two five years of experience at a financial institution. Preferred Education and Experience
10. At least one year of Loan Operations experience at a financial institution.
