Job description

School-Based Behavior Interventionist Creative Interventions | School-Based Division Do the work that changes how schools think about behavior. Many new behavior analysts spend years in one clinic, running one kind of program. At Creative Interventions, you'll be inside public schools working alongside teachers, administrators, and IEP teams.

You'll help districts move toward trauma-informed, assent-focused practice and away from restraint and reactive discipline. You'll provide direct ABA services. You'll also get hands-on experience with the work BCBAs do: assessments, FBAs, treatment plans, staff training, and IEP meetings. You'll do all of it with real supervision and coaching behind you.

If you're building toward a career as a behavior analyst, this is where you build it. How We Practice We believe good behavior support starts with safety, trust, and respect for the learner. Our work is trauma-informed and assent-based: we pay attention to what students are communicating, honor their right to say no, and build skills through connection rather than compliance.

We partner with districts to reduce physical intervention and replace reactive responses with proactive, compassionate systems. If that's the kind of behavior analyst you want to be, you'll fit right in. Why You'll Want This Job BCBA fieldwork supervision. Earn supervised fieldwork hours toward your BCBA certification while you work, with experienced BCBAs coaching you through real cases in real schools.

Practice you can feel good about. Learn to deliver ABA that's trauma-informed and assent-based, the direction the field is heading, from a team that's already doing it. A school-year schedule. You get paid time off that matches the school calendar: a week off in December, April, June, and August. You also get 40 more PTO hours to use during the year.

Real clinical growth. You won't just run programs. You'll help with VB-MAPP, AFLS, and ABLLS-R assessments, FBA data collection, report writing, and treatment plan development. Systems-level impact. Train school staff, help carry out BIPs, and see your work spread across whole classrooms and buildings. Ongoing training.

Attend internal and external trainings every year, plus clinical and team meetings that keep you sharp. Variety. Different districts, different buildings, different learners. No two weeks look the same.
