Mental Health Assistant 1 RRMC (Behavioral Health Unit)

Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.900000 | Full Time | Variable Schedule Nights Salary Range: $21.15 - $29.08 Shift Differentials: $1.27/hr. for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm $2.15/hr. for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am $1.10/hr. extra for working weekends Position Summary The Mental Health Assistant-1 for Asante assists in maintaining, restoring, and promoting patient's health through the application of psychiatric-mental health nursing principles as directed by a registered nurse (RN).

General responsibilities include discontinuing saline locks, obtaining nasal swabs, adjusting oxygen rate of flow, taking vital signs, assisting with mobility/ambulation, intake and output recording, general hygiene/ADLs, and changing linens.

Qualifications
