Associate Case Property Underwriter

JOB PURPOSE: •Execute processes and make decisions within the Policy STAR, Policy PRO and/or Legacy system that are outside the flow of automated New Business and Change Requests. •Correct data arising from system problems or conversion issues. •Serves as 1st line help desk support for Policy STAR/Policy PRO questions from internal users. •Select and maintain a profitable book of Homeowner and Mobile Homeowner accounts in compliance with company philosophy within level of authority. •Use of independent judgement in gathering information from agents and other sources to make underwriting decisions regarding insurability and coverage options in order to maintain a profitable book of business.
