Housekeeper

JOB DUTIES: Routinely cleans patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms and corridors, as assigned Completes work assignments in a timely manner Utilizes appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure with focus on safety Use and maintain equipment properly with focus on safety Transport trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area Replenish supplies Follow all infection control practices including hand washing techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions Cleans and maintains carpet and tiled floors by using heavy equipment to clean, strip, and wax floors on a rotating basis Observes safety precautions at all times Maintains confidentiality of all information according to HIPAA and company policy The Housekeeper assumes other responsibilities as assigned.
