Ultrasound Technologist Senior - Weekender Nights

Hourly Pay Range: $38.96 - $60.39

• The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000 Position: Ultrasound Technologist Senior Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL Full-Time, 36 hours weekly Hours: Three 12 hour shifts. Thursday, Friday and Saturday overnights, 7pm-7am What you will do: Under general supervision, using ultrasound equipment produces two-dimensional ultrasound images of internal organs for use by Radiologists in the diagnosis of disease and the study of malfunction of organs. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of the job. Explains procedure to patient, gives opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust. The Ultrasound Technologist Senior is proficient in a range of tasks and skills within multiple ultrasound disciplines/procedures. In addition to the Ultrasound Tech responsibilities, these Senior Level Technologists are registered in 3 or more registries and/or perform specialized procedures within the department. These include: Biopsies (FNA
• Fine Needle Aspiration, Thyroid, Liver, Breast, etc.), Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, MSK, Breast, TCD
