YOUR ROLE

The role is based within a dynamic, multi-site manufacturing environment, supporting factories across the EMEA region. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain test systems used for wiring harness validation. The position involves hands-on technical work and frequent travel (up to 60%) to provide onsite support, ensure consistent testing processes, and address operational challenges.

To support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Electrical test systems used in the production and final validation of wiring harnesses. The engineer will ensure that test equipment operates reliably, complies with customer and industry requirements, and is standardized across production sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the design, assembly, and commissioning of the electrical test equipment for wiring harness validation Interpret customer specifications and technical drawings to ensure test systems meet all requirements Support the deployment and standardization of testing processes across manufacturing sites Configure and troubleshoot test setups involving I/O boards, pneumatic components, and basic programming interfaces (PLC, Python, etc.)

Monitor performance and reliability of testing systems, proposing improvements where necessary Ensure proper documentation of test procedures, calibration guidelines, and operating instructions Train local teams on test system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational efficiency Communicate effectively in English with internal teams, suppliers, and customers Travel to support implementation, issue resolution, and ongoing optimization at factory sites across the EMEA region YOUR BACKGROUND Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment Experience with: Electrical testing systems for automotive wiring harnesses; Mechatronics, pneumatics, sensors, I/O system; Basic programming (PLC, Python, etc.)

; Equipment specification, implementation, and optimization; Safety, ergonomics, and productivity standards Interpret customer specifications and technical drawings; Configure and troubleshoot test setups; Coordinate installations and upgrades with suppliers and factory teams; Train local teams on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; Document technical specifications, calibration procedures, and maintenance instructions Strong documentation skills (procedures, calibration, instructions) Strong knowledge in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and process documentation Strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational efficiency Strong cross-functional collaboration with Production, Quality, Engineering, and suppliers Willingness to travel up to 60% across the EMEA region QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechatronics, Electrical, Automation, or related field) Proficiency in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus WHY JOIN US?
