Operations Manager - Julian, NC

Red Stag, LLC is seeking a talented and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team! Location: Julian, NC Schedule: Monday- Friday/ Weekends as needed 8 hour shifts/ On Call Benefits: Health/Vision/Dental insurance Company Paid Life insurance PTO Holiday Pay Bonus Pay Opportunities Available Overview: The ideal candidate will have a multi-faceted approach to overseeing Dispatch, scheduling/load-planning, Safety & DOT, and have frontline communication with drivers while providing exceptional customer service and inspirational leadership.

Strong knowledge of milk hauling and the dairy industry is essential to this position Qualifications:

• Must have current Class A CDL / Med Card
• Two Years Minimum with tanker endorsement
• Comprehensive understanding of Logistics, Dairy handling standards, Supply Chain, and DOT regulations
• Experience leading a team(s), operation(s) or fleet of drivers preferred
• Previous dispatching or scheduling of dairy commodities preferred
• J.I.T. or supply chain experience
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Sheets/Docs, Adobe)
• Strong work ethic and customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Capable of maintaining efficiency and sensibility in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Enforce policy compliance to ensure service level commitments are met and exceeded
• Responsible for the day-to-day operational success of our local milk collection and regional fleet
• Provides direction and guidance to dispatchers to ensure consistency in the execution of their job duties and compliance to all standardized procedures and practices
• Encourage safety in all actions and behaviors
• Fosters an environment where all employees are encouraged and supported in reaching their full potential
• Prompt replies to Emails, Phone calls and Texts from Drivers, Dispatchers, Customers and Management
• Regularly Problem-solves/troubleshoots equipment/ logistics challenges
