Property Legal & Sustainability Lead
Job description
Ideally you will have a background in property management, estates management, or legal administration with experience of working with architects, contractors, or design professionals. Experience in the charity, healthcare, or public sectors would be useful but not essential. Interviews will be held in our Hammersmith office on Thursday 19 November.
You will oversee lease management, statutory compliance, governance processes, and utilities contracts across all centres while leading the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives. You will work collaboratively with the Director of Property, In-House Architect, Centre teams, and external consultants to ensure that every Maggie’s Centre operates safely, efficiently, and in line with our sustainability ambitions.
The role will support the delivery and quality of new and existing Maggie’s Centres ensuring that they operate effectively and achieve their primary goal of providing high quality environments for anyone affected by cancer. Full details of required skills and experience are listed in the attached job description. You’ll spend time at one of our incredible centres to experience our programme of support and see first-hand the difference we can make.
A structured Orientation week will cover everything you need to get settled in your new role. Holiday entitlement that helps you create a manageable work life balance. Generous sick leave cover. A supportive and friendly working environment. Tailored learning and development opportunities. Kitchen facilities with free tea, coffee and fruit bowl.
Workplace pension and free financial advice from an independent financial advisor to help you plan for your future. Option to keep a pre-existing NHS pension if eligible. Travel and cycle loans. Eye test expenses and money towards glasses. Enhanced maternity pay. Our buddy system links you with a colleague to give you extra support in your first few months.
