Asset Control Manager | Evri Group Location: Barnsley, Warrington or Rugby Hub Salary: £44,500 – £49,500 + Car Allowance + Benefits Working Pattern: Hub-based, with travel across the network required Drive Smarter Asset Planning and Control Across Our Network We're looking for an experienced Asset Control Manager to join our Forecasting & Planning team, taking a network-wide approach to the governance, control and optimisation of operational assets across Evri Group.

This role can be based at any of our hubs in Barnsley, Warrington or Rugby , offering flexibility in your primary working location. You'll be expected to work on-site at your designated hub for the majority of the week, with regular travel across our wider network as required. You'll provide the insight and oversight needed to improve asset visibility and utilisation across our hubs, depots, delivery units and client operations.

Using data to identify risks, trends and opportunities, you'll strengthen controls, reduce asset loss and ensure our operational asset strategy supports both current demand and future network requirements. Working closely with Operations, Planning and Commercial teams, you'll play an important role in supporting BAU, Peak and future growth , while driving greater accountability and reducing unnecessary replacement costs.

What You'll Be Doing Own and maintain visibility of operational asset balances across the network. Analyse asset movements, utilisation, losses and variances to identify trends, risks and opportunities. Support forecasting of future asset requirements across BAU, Peak and network growth. Work with Forecasting & Planning, Operations and Commercial teams to align asset availability with operational demand.

Produce regular reporting, dashboards and insight to support operational decision-making. Lead asset reconciliations and investigate significant shortages or unexplained variances. Monitor network compliance and work with operational teams to strengthen asset controls and accountability. Identify opportunities to improve utilisation, reduce asset loss and control replacement spend.

Support asset deployment and procurement planning based on network requirements. Drive continuous improvement across asset planning, reporting and operational processes.

What We're Looking For

You'll be analytical, commercially aware and comfortable working across a complex operational network, with the confidence to engage stakeholders across multiple locations. You'll ideally bring: Experience within asset management, planning, inventory/stock control, supply chain or logistics operations . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with large data sets.

Advanced Excel skills and confidence producing meaningful operational reporting. Experience identifying trends, investigating variances and turning data into actionable recommendations. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and constructively challenge operational teams. An understanding of logistics, distribution or complex network operations.

The ability and willingness to travel regularly between operational sites. Experience with Power BI, operational auditing or process improvement would be advantageous. Why Join Evri Group?
