About the Role

The Yard position is a critical role responsible for managing and maintaining the outdoor operational areas of a facility, ensuring that all yard activities run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves coordinating the movement and storage of materials, equipment, and vehicles within the yard to support overall business operations.

The Yard professional will oversee safety protocols, maintain cleanliness, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. They will work closely with logistics, warehouse, and maintenance teams to optimize yard space and workflow. Ultimately, this role contributes to the seamless flow of goods and services, supporting the organization's operational success.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Basic knowledge of yard operations and material handling. Ability to operate yard equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (certification preferred). Strong attention to safety and detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in yard management or logistics support roles. Forklift operator certification or other relevant equipment operation licenses. Familiarity with inventory management systems and yard management software. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or overtime as needed. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Manage daily yard operations including the organization and movement of materials, equipment, and vehicles. Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely loading, unloading, and storage activities. Maintain yard safety by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular inspections.
