Registered Nurse Clinic - MGL Cardiovascular Associates

Responsible for the delivery of nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice following organizational policies and procedures, nursing process guidelines, standards of care, and standards of practice.

Essential Functions

Assists in performing clinical procedures as directed by the physician/provider. Collects, records, reports and maintains data. Assesses each assigned patient, evaluates and documents their response to care and takes appropriate action. Plans and implements patient care and provides patient teaching using Standard of Care.

Adheres to established principles of aseptic technique and infection control. Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license. For clinics with the Rural Health Designation, Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), and Canadian equivalents, (MHC approved providers for the resuscitation certification) is required within 6 months of hire Preferred: ACLS certification.
