Performs skilled work in the maintenance and repair of heating and air-conditioning systems to ensure that a comfortable environment is maintained at all times. The scope of responsibility also includes repair and maintenance of all refrigeration equipment located within the facility, and the performance of preventive maintenance in each of the previously mentioned areas on an established periodic basis.

May lead and manage installation, repair, or replacement of HVAC components or systems. Includes all aspects and responsibilities of the HVAC Mechanic trade. Texas Tech Health El Paso (TTEP) is not considering applications from individuals who require sponsorship for an employment visa, including those with H1B visas or those currently on student or postgraduate visas.

Additionally, this position is not eligible for remote or hybrid opportunities. All work is required to be performed onsite at TTEP.
