Clerk

Description As part of the legal community since 1975, Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell, PLC provides the highest caliber legal counsel in a broad range of practice areas. The Firm is seeking a part-time clerk/runner for our Nashville, Tennessee office. The schedule for the part-time position would be during regular business hours, approximately 20 hours per week.

Essential Functions

Pick-up/delivery of interoffice items such as files, interoffice envelopes, outgoing mail etc. Sort/distribute incoming mail. Apply postage to outgoing mail. Pick-up/drop off mail from local post office. Drop off packages to overnight boxes. Complete copy/scan/fax jobs as needed. Bind documents when requested. Various driving errands such as court filings, deliveries to other law firms, etc.

Pick-up lunch orders for meetings as needed. Answer the phone as needed. Other duties may be may be assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

This position requires that the employee be able to lift boxes up to approximately 40 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk up/down stairs. Must have reliable transportation, driver's license and proof of insurance for driving errands. High school diploma or GED
