Endoscopy Technician (FT)

Shift: 6:30a-3p Job Description : Disinfects, cleans, sorts, sterilizes, assembles, labels and stores instruments used for endoscopic procedures.

Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent. Ability to read and understand instructions and keep records. Incumbent will be required to attain BLS at within 3 months of employment. NA I certification and listed on the NC registry in good standing ( incumbent holds one of the preferred certifications listed below.) Preferred: In lieu of NA I certification, one of the following certifications will be accepted: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).

Experience : No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of the job within 6 months.
