Job Summary

The Radiology Receptionist performs clerical duties that support the operations of the Imaging department.

Job Responsibilities

Check-in patients for appointment(s). Perform clerical duties such as copying, faxing, CD imaging. May perform office procedures such as checking referral status, imaging scheduling, and/or coordinate other scheduling activities with patient. Utilize hospital/department communication: telephone, interface messaging Answer incoming calls from patients, medical offices, health care facilities, and others.

Request images from outside facilities to be sent or send images to them as requested. Other duties as assigned.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent Preferred: Business school certificate or equivalent experience Experience Preferred Medical Terminology Training License/Certification Requirements None
