Field Service Mechanic

Here’s how you’ll be a part of our team Based at our Whyalla branch and servicing the surrounding region, you'll play a key role maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of hire equipment at customer sites. This is a hands-on field service role offering variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work across earthmoving equipment, access equipment and general hire assets.

This is a permanent full time role working Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm. Duties include: Safe, effective and efficient preventative maintenance, servicing and overhaul of equipment as required. Deliver a level of trust and commitment to our customers that demonstrates Coates is the right supplier for their project needs.

Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across a variety of equipment on customer sites, including large earthmoving equipment, generators, lighting plants, boom lifts and other access equipment. Manage stock levels of spare parts within your service vehicle to ensure repairs can be completed efficiently on site.
