We are looking for motivated and safety-focused people to join New Zealand Aluminium Smelter (NZAS) as Production Operators. This is a great opportunity for people looking to build a long-term career in industry. No previous aluminium manufacturing experience is required.
We provide full training and support, making this a great opportunity for people looking to start a new career or bring transferable skills from other industries. Reporting to Supervisors and Superintendents and working within a supportive production team, you will: Work safely at all times and contribute to a strong safety culture Operate fixed and mobile plant equipment Complete manual operational tasks across production areas Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals About You A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team Successfully complete pre-employment medical and physical assessments A full and current New Zealand driver's licence Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to undertake physical work in an industrial environment Workshop, hands on work, manufacturing or industrial experience but not essential.
