Assistant Manager, Accounts Payable

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Assistant Manager, Accounts Payable based in Mumbai, India. We are seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations across multiple international entities, including the United States, India, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

In this role, you will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will collaborate closely with procurement, taxation, treasury, business teams, and senior finance leaders to strengthen financial controls and support effective cash flow management.

The position combines hands-on accounts payable management with cross-border tax compliance, month-end closing, audit support, and process improvement. You will also use ERP technology and automation to streamline workflows, enhance reporting visibility, and improve operational efficiency. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring at least two days per week in the Mumbai office, within a collaborative, technology-driven environment that embraces AI-enabled ways of working.
