Sr. Purchase Executive

Sr. Purchase Executive Summary We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our procurement operations within the IT Services sector. In this pivotal role, the incumbent will oversee the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle, ensuring cost-effective sourcing strategies while maintaining robust vendor relationships. The position demands a strategic thinker capable of balancing immediate material needs with long-term financial objectives, playing a critical part in optimizing supply chain efficiency and supporting overall organizational growth.

Responsibilities

Manage the complete lifecycle of Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and compliance with company policies. Conduct thorough evaluations of potential and existing suppliers to assess reliability, quality, and performance standards. Implement rigorous cost control measures and perform detailed price comparisons to secure the most competitive rates for goods and services.

Coordinate closely with inventory teams to align material procurement with operational requirements and stock levels. Utilize advanced MS Excel functionalities to analyze data, generate reports, and track procurement metrics. Oversee all aspects of purchasing and procurement activities, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Build and maintain strong, strategic partnerships with vendors to enhance service delivery and negotiation outcomes. Lead sourcing initiatives and execute negotiation strategies to optimize terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.

Requirements

Possess 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in procurement or supply chain management. Demonstrated expertise in Purchase Order (PO) management and documentation. Proven ability to perform comprehensive supplier evaluations and vendor management. Strong background in cost control, price comparison, and budget adherence.

Proficient in inventory and material coordination processes. Advanced skills in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting. Solid understanding of procurement principles, sourcing strategies, and negotiation tactics. Competitive salary range of ₹5-6 LPA.
