Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Curriculum Development: Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Civil Engineering subjects. Design and revise course curriculum to align with industry trends and academic standards in Civil Engineering. Mentor and supervise students in their academic pursuits, including final year projects, internships, and research work.

Research and Scholarly Activity: Conduct innovative research in Civil Engineering, contributing to advancements in the field. Publish research findings in reputed peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences. Supervise research projects and guide students in their research endeavors. Academic Administration: Participate in academic committees and contribute to institutional governance.

Mentor junior faculty members and support their professional growth. Community Engagement and Outreach: Engage in outreach activities to promote Civil Engineering education and research to the broader community. Foster collaborations with other academic institutions, industry partners, and professional bodies. Engage in professional development through participation in workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance the institution's visibility and influence in the field.

Requirements

A Masters degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution, or nearing completion, with a strong emphasis on research potential. A demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, with a minimum of 01 year of teaching experience is preferred. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a dedication to fostering academic excellence and student success.
