Scheduler | Diagnostic Imaging

This position performs scheduling services and administrative support to enhance the function of the assigned area(s) in an effort to provide optimal patient care and ensure a seamless patient experience. Supports the organization in fulfilling the mission, vision, and values of Logan Health.

Location: Onsite, Whitefish, Montana Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | 8-Hour Shifts Due to the responsibilities of this role, it is not eligible for hybrid or remote work. Logan Health is seeking a friendly and dependable Scheduler to support our Diagnostic Imaging team in Whitefish, Montana. In this role, you will help patients navigate the scheduling process, coordinate imaging appointments and provide administrative support to help the department operate smoothly. You will work closely with patients, providers and members of the imaging team to ensure each patient receives clear information and compassionate service.

What You’ll Do Schedule diagnostic imaging services and procedures accurately and efficiently. Explain appointment details and preparation instructions to patients. Coordinate schedules, equipment and other departmental resources. Communicate with patients, providers and team members in a professional and compassionate manner.

Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements. Update scheduling systems, databases and patient information. Support daily department operations and assist during periods of high patient volume. Collaborate with team members to provide a smooth and welcoming patient experience. Assist with training and onboarding new team members when needed.

What We’re Looking For Candidates with one or more of the following are encouraged to apply: Healthcare education or vocational training. Previous healthcare or customer service experience. Knowledge of medical terminology. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer service and communication skills.

The ability to prioritize responsibilities and remain calm in a busy environment. Comfort working both independently and as part of a team. Professionalism, kindness, empathy and discretion. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software. The ability to type approximately 45 words per minute is highly preferred.

Shift: Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America) Schedule: Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
