Lab Technician Location: ALTIVIA Petrochemicals, LLC, Haverhill, OH, 45636 Position Overview ALTIVIA Petrochemicals, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at our Haverhill, OH facility. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the chemical plant operations by performing routine and specialized laboratory tests to ensure product quality and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct chemical and physical analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established procedures. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results. Record, analyze, and report data accurately and timely to support production and quality control teams.

Assist in troubleshooting process issues by providing timely laboratory data and insights. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training and audits. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and maintenance.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or related field preferred. Previous experience as a Laboratory Technician in a chemical plant or related industrial environment is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, chemical analysis, and instrumentation. Ability to interpret technical data and maintain detailed records.

Proficient in using laboratory software and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed.
