Production Coordinator

Job Description: Mars Snacking- Production Coordinator- Elizabethtown, PA Hiring Manager: Mike Kleinfelter Current Shift Schedule 4-Shift Rotation : Rotates between: 4th Shift: Week Off 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Weekday Shifts: 8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday) Weekend Shifts: 12-hour shifts (off every other weekend) Future Shift Schedule: In 2027: Transition from rotating to 12 hour fixed shifts (specific details still in discussion) Description of Role: The Production Coordinator works with the Production Lead to manage the on-shift production team, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and output standards in a GMP food manufacturing environment.

This role drives continuous improvement by developing and training operators to properly execute standards What are we looking for? Minimum Requirements: Must have line manager approval 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment Experience training or coaching others in a manufacturing environment Proficient in computer software’s including MS Office and email Physical Requirements: Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs) Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping. Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces. Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.

Preferred Qualifications

Technical degree or certifications 5+ years’ experience in an automated manufacturing environment Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, Wonderware and/or Weever Experience with TPM/Continuous Improvement Tools What will your key responsibilities be? Train and coach operators and mechanics on executing standards Drive process efficiency on production equipment Act as back up for Production Lead Drive continuous improvement activities Experience in data collection and analysis Any ad hoc requests
