Overview
The Courier is responsible for working with the biomedical technician to ensure acute sites have what is needed for supply management and inventory processes. This position is also responsible for receiving, and delivering supplies in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
Delivers supplies to hospitals and centers in a timely manner and checks for expiration dates Handles supplies carefully using proper transport safety and refrigeration techniques Receives incoming supplies Packs supplies for shipping Maintains courier vehicle through regular maintenance and repair; maintains appearance of courier vehicle through regular cleaning Picks up intercompany mail where applicable and delivers to territory offices Assists with trash removal in warehouse and hospital storage areas where applicable Maintains standards of cleanliness in assigned areas Qualifications All employees must work in accordance with Satellite’s I-CARE Standards.
Employees must abide by all Satellite’s standards of patient care, patient’s rights and ethical treatment, and adhere to safety and quality programs.
