Standard Job Description What We're Doing At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) in Owego, NY, we develop advanced mission systems and electronics for defense and aerospace applications. Our teams create capabilities across advanced processing, radar, electronic warfare, communications, and avionics. The Work As an Electrical Engineer Level 3, you will independently design, develop, integrate, and test electrical and electronic systems.
You will own significant portions of engineering work while collaborating across disciplines to deliver reliable solutions for advanced mission systems. You will: Design and develop electrical and electronic systems and subsystems. Develop and release schematics, drawings, analyses, and technical documentation. Perform circuit and system analysis, troubleshooting, and design reviews.
Support power distribution, electrical interfaces, signal integrity, and system integration. Lead prototype bring-up, integration, and testing activities. Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and test organizations. Investigate complex technical issues and develop practical engineering solutions.
Support advanced processing, radar, electronic warfare, communications, and avionics technologies. Provide technical guidance to less-experienced engineers. Please note: This position is based out of Owego, NY, requires ability to travel up to 10%. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.

Who You Are
You are an experienced electrical engineer who enjoys owning challenging technical work and taking designs from requirements through integration and test. You also: Have strong experience in electrical or electronic system design Understand analog and digital circuit design and analysis Have experience with electrical interfaces, integration, troubleshooting, and testing.

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience of 5+ years. -Experience with digital circuit / logic design (schematic creation), processor design & architecture. -Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearanct at the secret level. Desired Skills -Masters from an accredited college in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
-Experience in designing Aero-Defense Industry compliant designs (For example: DO-254, DO-178, SOSA). -Project and team leadership experience. -Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
