Maintenance Technician

Job Description Position : Maintenance Technician Direct Supervisor : Maintenance Manager Backup : Related KPI : Equipment Uptime (OEE) Safety PM Summary/Objective The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and machinery, performing regular inspections, and conducting preventive maintenance tasks to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.

The role involves troubleshooting equipment, repair, and technical upgrades as required.

Essential Functions

Perform daily maintenance tasks and respond promptly to any equipment malfunctions, arriving on-site within 10 minutes of receiving notice. Manage equipment upgrades and technical transformations to meet production requirements. Provide training and support on proper equipment operation. Follow a structured maintenance plan for equipment upkeep and repair, reporting any failures to adhere to the plan to the supervisor.

Ensure the equipment area complies with 5S standards to maintain a clean and organized environment. Competency Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Project management capabilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. High ethical standards and integrity in performing duties.

Effective time management and prioritization skills. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisor responsibility. Work Environment This job is operated between a factory and office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Must be 18 years or older. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work this is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.

m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel Sometimes travel to our supplier may happen. Required Education and Experience Basic mechanical aptitude with experience in manufacturing plant setting. Preferred Education and Experience 5+ years of maintenance experience, with in-depth knowledge of injection molding machines, including electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics systems.

Basic experience with robotics, including minor programming adjustments.
