Senior Planner
Job description

Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio of hyperscale Data Centre projects across Germany , we are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of complex, large-scale developments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project programmes for major Data Centre projects from pre-construction through to handover. Prepare baseline programmes, monitor progress, and produce regular planning and performance reports for project stakeholders. Analyse progress, critical path activities, and project performance, identifying risks and opportunities to ensure successful project delivery.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure programme objectives are achieved. Lead planning workshops, look-ahead planning sessions, and schedule reviews to support project execution. Monitor resource requirements, procurement schedules, and key project milestones.
Identify potential delays and develop mitigation and recovery programmes where required. Provide planning expertise during tender, pre-construction, and live project phases. Support project controls, progress measurement, earned value reporting, and schedule risk analysis. Promote continuous improvement by challenging construction methodologies and identifying opportunities to optimise programme delivery.
Requirements
Degree qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years' planning experience on major construction projects. Proven experience delivering Data Centre projects or other large-scale mission-critical developments. Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Strong understanding of critical path analysis, project controls, progress reporting, and schedule risk management. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience working on international construction projects is advantageous.
