Dental Assistant

DAYS: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Maintain accurate medical records and patient information using dental software systems such as Dentrix and Epic. Monitor and record vital signs of patients prior to procedures.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments. Assist with endodontic procedures, ensuring all materials are prepared and available for use. Utilize 3D scanning technology for impressions when necessary.

Provide support in managing patient flow and scheduling appointments.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting, with knowledge of general dentistry practices. Familiarity with endodontics is a plus. Ability to perform vital sign assessments accurately. Experience with 3D scanners is an advantage. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Certification in dental assisting or equivalent training is preferred. Salary $21 - $24 per hour
