Job Description: There is an exciting opportunity to join the site R&D team in Ballarat as the Associate Engineer

• Packaging Innovation. The role is responsible for supporting packaging related activities necessary to deliver our business objectives in Growth, Quality and Efficiency. The role will have responsibility for coordinating activities utilising existing packaging formats in the immediate portfolio, value leadership activities, creation and maintenance of packaging relevant information within different business systems, and providing technical support for the implementation of corporate Q&FS standards associated with new and existing packaging or packaging processes. What are we looking for? A BS or advanced degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Food Science, or related technical field 2+ years’ experience working on packaging projects Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams and with external suppliers What will be your key responsibilities? Work within cross functional teams to deliver on packaging activities utilising existing packaging formats development for allocated business activities covering primary packs through to 3rd place pre-packed display activation solutions. Support packaging development activities to improve efficiencies, reduce waste, unlock the sustainability strategy for packaging materials, and improve process capabilities Create and maintain packaging material information and ensure accuracy of data across different business systems including Workflow, Veritas, SAP, SOP’s What can you expect from Mars?
