Job description

Inside Sales Representative About the Role Our customers are building something they care about, and they want one person they can count on to get it right. As an Inside Sales Representative at Viewrail, you'll be that person. You'll take homeowners, builders, and designers from their first conversation with us to a confident purchase, and you'll stay with them as their project comes to life.

We're building a model where one person owns the customer's experience from start to finish, and we're hiring people who want that kind of ownership. No sales experience required. We'll teach you the products and the process. What we can't teach is the drive to follow through, the care to get the details right, and the instinct to pick up the phone before the customer has to.

Why Viewrail? We design and build beautiful, modern stair and railing systems, and we care just as much about the people who make that happen. Selling at Viewrail isn't cutthroat, solo work. Our sales team shares ideas and resources because we achieve more together, and our compensation is built so the reward matches the effort, with a base salary plus uncapped commission.

You'll get full training, a supportive team, and a clear path to grow. You'll also be eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage, voluntary life insurance, short term disability, flexible PTO, paid holidays, and a 401(k) with a 4% company match. *$55,000/year base salary plus uncapped commission. Established representatives average approximately $135,000/year in total earnings; first-year earnings are typically lower while you build your expertise Position Responsibilities: (Along with the responsibilities below, this role follows all Viewrail employment policies and requirements.)

Win the Project Respond quickly to new leads and learn what each customer is trying to build, including their goals, timeline, budget, and install plans Recommend the right Viewrail products and present quotes live, with clear expectations about scope, measurements, and next steps Follow up consistently and guide customers through their buying decision, then close the sale and stay connected as their project progresses Own the Customer Experience Be the customer's single, consistent point of contact, communicating proactively at every stage Flag problems or delays early, always to the customer first, and work with our internal teams to keep projects on track Stay connected after the sale to make sure the experience is great and earn repeat business and referrals Grow With the Role Learn what happens after the sale, from measurements and drawings to production, delivery, and installation Take on more ownership of the customer's project as you develop Keep customer information accurate in our CRM (Hub.

Spot) and help us improve our tools and processes All other job duties and responsibilities as assigned What We Are Looking For An ownership mindset: you treat the customer's outcome as your own and follow up without being asked Clear, friendly, confident communication by phone, video, email, and text Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to keep many customers moving at once Coachable and curious, with a positive attitude and the resilience to keep going when things get hard Comfortable learning new software and using AI tools to work smarter Motivated to grow your skills, your career, and your income Nice to Have Inside or outside sales experience Experience in residential construction, building products, or home improvement Customer service or project coordination experience How We Work We hold ourselves to six operating principles, not as slogans, but as the daily standard for how we show up and get work done.

Built to Grow

  • We're not looking for people who've got it all figured out. We want people who are curious, coachable, and willing to put in the effort to get better. Better Together
  • Strong results come from strong teams. We communicate clearly, support each other, and don't let problems sit. Grounded & Great
  • We do what we say we're going to do. Quality, follow-through, and accountability aren't optional. They're the baseline. Think It Through
  • Before you act, understand the impact. We want people who ask the right questions and flag problems before they become bigger ones. Be the Expert
  • Own your station. Know your process. If you see a better way, say something. Partnership & Accountability
  • We succeed as a team. That means owning your results, good or bad, and showing up for the people around you.
