Vice President of Table Games (Caesars New Orleans)
Job description
The Vice President of Table Games is responsible for leading and overseeing all table games operations at Caesars New Orleans, including Table Games, Poker, and the Sportsbook. This executive role provides strategic direction, ensures operational excellence, and drives performance across all related departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience while maintaining regulatory compliance and achieving financial goals.
Provide strategic leadership for all Table Games, Poker, and Sportsbook operations. Develop and implement operational plans aligned with company goals and objectives. Ensure full compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and company policies. Drive guest satisfaction through exceptional service and innovative gaming experiences.
Oversee departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure profitability and cost efficiency. Establish short- and long-term goals for casino operations and monitor progress toward achievement. Lead, mentor, and develop management teams to foster a high-performance, team-oriented culture. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and total customer satisfaction.
Analyze performance metrics and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement. Maintain current knowledge of laws and regulations affecting gaming operations and ensure consistent execution of compliance procedures. Represent the property in interactions with regulatory agencies, industry partners, and the public.
Promote a fair and consistent work environment through effective scheduling, performance management, and team engagement. Act as a role model, upholding Caesars’ values and encouraging excellence across all levels. Ensure adherence to attendance guidelines and all regulatory, departmental, and company policies. College degree or equivalent experience is required.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in casino operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing Table Games operations. Proven track record of managing large teams and multi-departmental operations in a high-volume gaming environment. Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate across all levels.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive revenue, improve guest satisfaction, and ensure regulatory compliance. Must have ability to identify and adopt new technological innovations within the organization. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino.
Must be able to lift to 10 pounds and carry up to 5 pounds. Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area. Must be able to operate a typewriter, telephone, computer, calculator, photocopy machine, fax machine and computer printers. Must have manual dexterity to operate a computer and necessary office equipment.
Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
