About the Role" We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a FHIR API Validation Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that FHIR-based APIs and workflows comply with FHIR R4 and implementation guides. This role involves designing and executing interoperability test scenarios, performing end-to-end testing of prior authorization and utilization management workflows, and validating data quality, terminology bindings, and profile conformance.

Collaboration with product, engineering, and business teams within a US healthcare payer environment is a key aspect of this role to ensure regulatory requirements are met and first-pass success rates are improved. "Job Title" FHIR API Validation Specialist "Responsibilities"

• Validate FHIR-based APIs and workflows for compliance with FHIR R4 and implementation guides.
• Design and execute interoperability test scenarios and test cases across payer–provider systems.
• Perform end-to-end testing of prior authorization and utilization management workflows.
• Validate data quality, terminology bindings, and profile conformance.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams within a US healthcare payer environment.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and improve first-pass success rates.
• Design and develop all QA artifacts. "Required Skills"
• Strong knowledge of FHIR standard (R4), REST APIs, and healthcare interoperability (mandatory).
• Experience with Utilization Management / Prior Authorization workflows/EDI X12 278 (highly desirable).
• Familiarity with US healthcare payer systems (highly desirable).
• Expertise in API testing and tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, etc. (preferred). "Desirable Skills"
