Description Job Title: Lead Certified Medical Assistant Location: Monticello, Illinois Department: Kirby Medical Group Position Type: Full-time Hours per week: 40 Schedule: M-F 7:30am-4:00pm Holiday Requirement: None Hourly Rate: $16.38-$20.48 *Compensation dependent on experience # of Openings: 1 Job Summary: Welcomes and greets patients to clinic.

Provides clinical assistance in the offices and clinics to the physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, nurses, therapists or other clinical staff. Escorts patients through the clinic environment, gathers and records clinical data relevant to the patient’s visit. Provides education about clinic processes or wait times to patients.

Consults with clinical staff about patient concerns. Escalates patient issues to Assistant Clinic Director or Clinic Director. Supervises daily workflow of the Medical Assistants and schedules changes to coverage, as needed. Ensures annual competencies are completed. Acts as the training and onboarding resource for newly hired Certified or Registered Medical Assistants and Patient Assistants.
