Golf Course Maintenance Worker Starting Hourly Rate $16.93 Nature of Work : This position involves semi-skilled manual and skilled equipment operation work in golf course maintenance Responsible for watering greens, and tees Maintains sand traps Changes cups on greens and tee markers Mows turf with sophisticated golf maintenance equipment and picks up debris, leaves, and broken tree limb Performs related work as required Reports to permanent Golf Course Green Keepers Required Qualifications : Ability to perform heavy manual labor, and follow oral and written instructions without close supervision Skilled in the use of hand and mechanical tools and equipment Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.

Please note, your certification must be from an organization that has been approved by the Bureau of Community and Health Systems, Child Care Licensing Division. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the proper use and operation of equipment used in golf course maintenance High School Diploma or G.E.D Equivalent and some experience in grounds keeping; or any equivalent combination of education and experience Physical Requirements : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this job.

Required to wear hearing protection. Required to walk on uneven terrain. The work often involves the ability to perform routine moderate lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
