CNC Machinist

Description POSITION SUMMARY Programs, sets up, and operates CNC machinery to manufacture complex precision parts for drilling and geotechnical equipment, ensuring dimensional accuracy and quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

& RESPONSIBILITIES Program CNC machines using G-code and/or CAM software Perform complex setups, including fixturing, tooling selection, and offsets Machine close-tolerance parts from steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys Inspect finished parts to blueprint specifications Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions Mentor CNC Operators and Assistants Maintain accurate production and inspection records Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED 3+ years CNC machining experience Proficiency in G-code programming Ability to work to tight tolerances (±0.
