About Us
On behalf of our client we are looking for an experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join its Finance team in Limassol. The successful candidate will take ownership of key financial control and reporting activities across a group of companies, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, effective cash flow management, and timely financial reporting to support business performance and strategic decision-making.
This role requires a hands-on finance professional with strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and proven experience within the online gaming, forex, or a similar regulated industry. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and collaborating closely with senior management and internal and external stakeholders.
Review and approve supplier invoices for payment. Oversee bookkeeping and accounting activities across the Group's companies. Prepare and review monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) reports. Monitor and manage cash flow across multiple companies and bank accounts. Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Assist with tax returns, compliance requirements, and other financial filings.
Review and manage agreements with service providers. Maintain banking relationships and coordinate banking transactions. Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with internal procedures. Support the day-to-day financial operations of the Group.
Requirements
CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification. Previous experience within the online gaming, Forex, or a similar industry. Strong experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and P&L preparation. Good knowledge of cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Additional languages will be considered a plus.
