Role Description As a Yard Jockey Spotter at Red Baron Transportation, you will play a key role in managing trailer movement within our yard to support safe and efficient logistics operations. This position is open to both CDL and non-CDL candidates. Whether you're an experienced driver or looking to grow into the logistics field, we provide the training and support needed to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Move trailers to and from loading docks and designated yard locations Ensure all trailers are chocked and locked when parked Conduct pre- and post-movement inspections Maintain accurate trailer logs and yard organization Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams Report any safety issues or equipment malfunctions to the Yard Manager Follow all company policies, including safety, conduct, and harassment policies Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid CDL preferred for CDL Yard Spotter roles Minimum of 3 years of Class A driving experience required for CDL roles Clean Motor Vehicle Record (if operating yard trucks) Valid Medical Card and FMCSA Clearinghouse listing (for CDL candidates) Ability to operate yard trucks safely (training provided for non-CDL candidates) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to communicate clearly and follow directions Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical duties Benefits and Compensation Hourly Pay: $18.
