Senior Component Engineer
Job description
The Senior Component Engineer assumes responsibility for all component types used in the company, providing specialized support to design engineering. Works closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality Assurance to assure component compatibility with product and fabrication requirements. Takes a proactive role in ensuring that components used in HME products are high quality, high reliability and cost effective.
Identifies part obsolescence issues and finds resolutions. Supports products from a sustaining standpoint.
