Production Line Cleaner

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout our quartz manufacturing plant. This role is essential to ensuring a safe and efficient working environment by cleaning production areas, offices, restrooms, and maintaining waste disposal systems in accordance with company hygiene and safety standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize production areas, machinery exteriors, and equipment surfaces (non-operational). Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, especially in areas with quartz dust accumulation. Remove industrial waste, debris, and recyclable materials from workspaces. Clean restrooms, locker rooms, lunchrooms, and office areas.

Use industrial cleaning supplies and equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums, pressure washers). Replenish cleaning supplies and report inventory needs to supervisor. Follow all health and safety guidelines, including wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Assist in minor maintenance or cleaning-related facility tasks as needed.

Report unsafe conditions, spills, or maintenance issues immediately.

Qualifications

Previous cleaning experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is preferred. Basic understanding of safety and sanitation practices in an industrial environment. Ability to operate industrial cleaning machines. Physically fit: able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in dusty or hot conditions.

Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or in a team. Willingness to wear protective gear and comply with safety procedures. Physical Job Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials (50 lbs.), stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions and exposure to noise. Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures within the plant.

May require working early morning, evening, or weekend shifts. Use of masks, gloves, and other PPE mandatory in certain areas.
