Home Health Aide / Caregiver Location: Traverse City, MI 49685 Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide / Caregiver to provide exceptional care for clients in the Traverse City area. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working with individuals with spinal cord injuries, including quadriplegics, and possess the skills necessary to support their daily living activities with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning clients safely. Support clients with spinal cord injuries and quadriplegia by following individualized care plans. Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to healthcare professionals or family members.

Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as directed. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a caregiver, preferably with spinal cord injury and quadriplegic clients. Knowledge of proper techniques for transferring and positioning clients with limited mobility. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately. Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
