What You'll Do

Cooking from scratch is both an art and a science, and at Cafe Rio, we take it to the next level. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for leading restaurant operations while developing future leaders, building strong teams, and growing sales. You will: Recruit, develop, coach, and mentor future restaurant leaders Build a culture of accountability, engagement, and exceptional guest service Drive restaurant sales through operational excellence, local store marketing, community involvement, and other sales-building initiatives Foster relationships within the community to increase brand awareness and guest traffic Lead and inspire your team to achieve operational and financial goals Ensure Cafe Rio's standards for food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality are consistently executed Create an environment where team members can grow their careers and reach their full potential This is just the tip of the tortilla chip!

Requirements

At least 18 years of age Proof of valid driver's license Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. and stand for 8+ hours 2 or more years of management experience, preferably in the restaurant industry, managing teams of 15 or more employees, interacting frequently with guests, and coaching employees into increasingly challenging leadership roles Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as workweeks that may occasionally exceed 40 hours Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Proven ability to build teams, develop leaders, drive sales growth, and execute local marketing and community engagement initiatives At Cafe Rio, we're looking for General Managers who don't just run restaurants.
