Job description
Position Title: Substitute Special Education Teacher Department: Student Services FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Supervisor: Student Services Supervisor Do you have a college degree, an interest in working part-time, and a love for working with children? If so, a Local Substitute Permit may be a good fit for you! You can obtain a Local Substitute Permit through the Nebraska Department of Education (NDE).

To perform the Substitute Special Education Teacher position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
