Full job description Position: Activities Assistant Location: Holton Manor- Elkhorn, WI Schedule: Part Time Days, PMs, Casual Every Other Weekend __________________________________ Job Summary As an Activities Assistant, you will work under the direction of the Director of Activities to help plan, organize, and lead recreational, social, and educational activities for residents in a senior housing community.

The Activities Assistant supports programs that promote residents’ physical, emotional, social, and mental well-being while encouraging independence, participation, and an enhanced quality of life. 00-$18.76 per hour, depending on experience Option of an additional $1.00 in lieu of benefits Insurance (health, dental, vision, life, short-term disability, accident, etc.) 401k (with company match) Tuition Reimbursement / Educational Assistance Program Generous Paid Time Off package Employee referral bonus Employee Assistance Program On Demand Pay w/Direct Deposit __________________________________ Key Responsibilities Facilitate daily activities, events, and recreational programs that meet residents’ needs, interests, and abilities.

Provide one-on-one interactions with residents to promote social engagement, emotional well-being, and an enhanced quality of life. Implement residents’ Plans of Care as they relate to activities and participation. Support residents in maximizing their potential for activity participation by adapting activities, providing cues and prompts, and grading activities according to individual abilities and needs.

Document residents’ participation, responses, and progress in the Matrix documentation system, including progress notes, as required. Collaborate with the Director of Activities and other team members to support residents’ individual goals and overall well-being. Maintain a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment during activities and programs.

Other Duties: Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Activities or designated supervisor. __________________________________ Qualifications Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Possess a strong desire and genuine interest in working with older adults. Be proficient in strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in stressful situations.

Knowledge of planning, developing, and implementing arts and crafts activities for residents. Possess well-developed organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
