Maintenance Custodian Second Shift

Custodian Responsibilities: Must be physically able to perform maintenance. Must possess a driver's license. Responsible for maintenance of the district buildings and grounds, and the supervision of the evening custodial staff within the district. Maintenance includes but is not limited to; general repair, mechanical, electrical, facility carpentry and plumbing.

Building management system controls and HVAC knowledge is a plus. Makes inspections of all buildings and reports issues. Maintains inventory of custodial and maintenance supplies. Availability for emergency work/calls as necessary. Must be present for snow removal operations in the district. Experience with snow blowers, salters and plowing a plus.

Assists with setting up and breaking down after-school events, summer stripping and waxing, and covering custodial sections. Reports to the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds. Schedule: Fulltime 8-hour shift Monday-Friday Second shift Education: High School or equivalent (required) Trade certification (preferred) Black Seal Experience: School custodial experience School maintenance experience Salary Range: $40,000 to $60,000 pending experience
