Business Process Analyst
Job description
A Snapshot of Your Day As a Business Process Analyst, you will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, helping transform how work gets done through process optimization, digitalization, automation, and data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate across departments to identify opportunities for improvement, eliminate inefficiencies, and implement innovative solutions that enhance productivity, quality, and customer experience.
In this role, you will support high-impact initiatives involving AI, workflow automation, business intelligence, and process standardization while developing dashboards and performance metrics that provide visibility into operational performance. Your work will help accelerate Siemens Energy's digital transformation journey and support sustainable business growth.
How You’ll Make an Impact Partner with business stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies, operational challenges, and opportunities for digital transformation. Lead process improvement initiatives using process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies. Design, develop, and implement automation solutions that reduce manual effort, improve quality, and increase operational efficiency.
Support AI and emerging technology initiatives that drive productivity and enhance business decision-making. Analyze current-state processes and design future-state processes that improve scalability, compliance, and operational performance. Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements, define business needs, and prioritize improvement opportunities.
Create interactive dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and reporting tools using Power BI and other business intelligence solutions. Establish performance metrics to measure operational health, process effectiveness, productivity, quality, and customer outcomes. Translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions and collaborate with IT, software developers, and business teams throughout implementation.
Support enterprise initiatives involving AI, robotic process automation (RPA), workflow automation, predictive analytics, and digital platforms. Document business processes, governance standards, work instructions, and operational procedures to support process sustainability and standardization. Drive adoption of new solutions through change management, communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
Stay informed on industry trends, AI technologies, and emerging digital capabilities to identify innovative opportunities for the organization. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in business process improvement, operational excellence, digital transformation, automation, business analysis, or project management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and business requirements into actionable insights. Experience developing dashboards, reports, KPIs, and performance metrics using Power BI or similar data visualization tools. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and data analysis.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and translate them into sustainable business solutions. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
